Jeden svet_CZ_modra_ctverecThe One World Human Rights Documentary Film Festival has been launched at Prague Crossroads for already the sixth time.

The 14th annual festival has selected a current and pressing topic, as it focuses on continuing protests and unrests in various parts of the world. One World’s films will show that even though protest events from Bahrain to Greece to the USA have different means and goals, they all have one common element: committed young people who are demanding change in the established order of things

The Homo Homini Award was once again awarded during the gala evening. This year the prize was awarded by the People in Need organization to the underground network of Syrian doctors and medical staff known as Doctors Coordinate of Damascus. The award was accepted by one of the coordinators of Syrian doctors Muhammad Abdal Hádí.
